Last updated: June 25, 2026
Recall is a personal knowledge workspace and browser extension. This policy explains the information used to provide its features.
Information processed
- Account information such as name and email address.
- Pages, bookmarks, selected text, notes, tags, and folders you choose to save.
- Authentication and synchronization data required to keep you signed in and sync the extension.
Browser extension
The extension accesses the active page only when needed to save a page or selection. Bookmark permission is used for bookmark synchronization. Authentication tokens and extension settings are stored in Chrome extension storage.
How information is used
Information is used only to provide Recall features, secure accounts, extract searchable page content, synchronize bookmarks, and diagnose service failures. Recall does not sell personal information.
Sharing and retention
Information may be processed by infrastructure and email providers used to operate Recall. Workspace data remains until you delete it or delete your account, subject to operational backups.
Your choices
You can export your workspace, remove individual content, revoke extension access by uninstalling it, or delete your Recall account.
